As a concerned international citizen, I believe it is my duty to apprise you of the following.

The “Coca-cola” culture of America has invaded and seduced far too many countries already. The result has been disastrous. Civilizations, which over thousands of years have evolved their own unique and beautiful styles of dress, have then allowed these rich traditions of apparel and dress sense to be traduced by the West. It is a travesty and an ironic tragedy that a civilization (the West) which is aesthetically inferior can so easily subvert a civilization (China) which is aesthetically superior.

I am proposing that the experts in your department revisit the charm, the elegance, the beauty and the practicality of the wardrobe of China’s traditional styles of dress. You must realize that it is infinitely superior to the arid, utilitarian and constricting functionalism of the West. This observation applies equally to your architecture. Since it was by osmosis that China adopted “ Western Dress”, it should not be too difficult to convince the Chinese consciousness that to return to its ethnic integrity would cause the following positive results.
